
Amy Bellisano is a Senior General Manager with General Growth Properties at Woodbridge Center in Woodbridge, NJ and has been a member of that management team since 1993. Woodbridge Center was previously developed, owned and managed by The Rouse Company until November 2004. Amy was with The Pyramid Companies from 1981 through 1993 serving as the Marketing Manager, Assistant General Manager and General Manager of Pyramid Mall Ithaca and then as the General Manager of the Poughkeepsie Galleria.
Woodbridge Center is 1.9 million sf and boasts more than 200 stores plus Lord & Taylor, Fortunoff, Macy’s, Sears, Dick’s Sporting Goods and JCPenney. Olive Garden and Bahama Breeze will be opening in 2008 – this will greatly strengthen the restaurant offerings at this center. The center is in the process of leveling the fountain courts for better flexibility in common area programming. The JCPenney court will be completed this Fall and will be home to complimentary family amenities such as the train and a new carousel. In 2008, Center Court will be leveled and the space will be utilized for new product introductions, special events and specialty retail.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the New York New Jersey Council, Amy is on the Board of Directors of the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Woodbridge Economic Development Corporation where she also serves as the Treasurer. She is a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Stewardship Committee and she sings in the choir at the First Presbyterian Church in Metuchen along with her husband, Pete Bellisano.
