Elizabeth A. Napoli, President of MC & M, Ltd, has over 35 years of experience in the shopping center industry including management, marketing, administration of operations, tenant coordination, and lease administration. Her expertise also includes acting as liaison with the leasing, marketing and development departments, ownership representatives and government officials. She traveled throughout the United States as a regional marketing director and member of the Grand Opening Team for Federated Stores Realty to help direct the opening of various shopping centers and to supervise their initial marketing efforts.  During her career in the shopping center industry, Ms. Napoli has achieved the designations of SCSM, Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager and SCMD, Senior Certified Marketing Director from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and has been a finalist for five ICSC MAXI awards, which are the “Oscars” of shopping center marketing.

Throughout 2009, Ms Napoli provided interim management services to Development Management Associates (DMA) for Roosevelt Collection, a new mixed-use project under development by Centrum Properties in downtown Chicago, IL.  This 1.3 million square foot venture opened Phase I of the residential portion in September of 2009 and launched Phase I of the retail in December 2009 with the opening of the 16-screen Kerasotes ICON Theater.  Phase II of the retail is expected to begin construction in Spring 2010 and open later in the year.

Ms. Napoli was also a consultant to Meadowlands Development, the operating entity for Xanadu, the 4.8 million-square-foot family entertainment, sports, retail, office and hotel complex. Meadowlands Xanadu is located at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in Bergen County, New Jersey, within five miles of Manhattan.  Meadowlands Xanadu is being developed by ERC 16W Limited Partnership, in cooperation with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.

Prior to starting MC & M, Ms. Napoli was the General Manager of The Shops at Riverside (formerly Riverside Square), a 900,000 upscale regional shopping center anchored by Bloomingdale’s and Saks Fifth Avenue in Bergen County/Hackensack, New Jersey. Her affiliation with Riverside Square began in 1979 when she was appointed Marketing Director.  Ms. Napoli was promoted to Regional Marketing Director for Federated Stores Realty and then JMB/Federated. She participated as a member of the grand opening team to open shopping centers and then supervise the marketing efforts of malls in Fort Worth, Texas, Boca Raton, Florida, Memphis, Tennessee and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.  Concurrently, she was supervising the marketing efforts for Riverside Square and other centers in Plantation, Florida, and Dallas, Texas. In April 1986, she was promoted to Assistant Manager of Riverside Square and then General Manager in January 1987. Prior to coming to Riverside Square, Ms. Napoli was the Marketing Director for Rockaway Townsquare in Rockaway, New Jersey and Nanuet Mall in Nanuet, New York for Pembrook Management. She started her career as the Promotion Director of Millcreek Mall in Erie, Pennsylvania for The Cafaro Company.  She was the first student intern to be hired by The Cafaro Company, working in the promotion department at Millcreek Mall.

Ms. Napoli is President of the New York/New Jersey Council of Shopping Centers and a founding member of the organization. She is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) serving as the New York/Northern New Jersey Public Relations & Community Service Chairman from 2000 through 2001 and the New Jersey State Operations Chairman from 1987 through 1989. She was also a member of the ICSC Distance Learning Committee.  Ms. Napoli is a speaker for ICSC at conferences and educational offerings.  In October 2009 and April 2010, Ms Napoli taught “The Lease and Its Administration” module at the ICSC Leasing For Non-Leasing Professionals at ICSC Headquarters in New York City.
