
Maranda Ashkar is the Director of Retail Marketing for Hartz Mountain Industries, Inc. in Secaucus, NJ. She joined Hartz Mountain in 1986, while completing her last year of college. Since then she has become an intregal part of the company and her primary responsibilities include handling all marketing efforts involved with retail and commercial properties. Additionally, she supports Hartz’s retail leasing effort, which spans more than one million square feet of retail space.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the New York New Jersey Council of Shopping Centers and the Meadowlands Liberty Convention and Visitors Bureau, Maranda is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Maranda holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from New Jersey City University. She has two children and currently resides in Bergen County.
