Michael Hauser was appointed General Manager of Rockaway Townsquare in September 2004. Mr. Hauser has over eighteen years managing regional shopping centers including Menlo Park Mall in Edison, New Jersey and Brunswick Square in East Brunswick, New Jersey and Nanuet Mall in Nanuet, New York. Simon Property Group owns and manages Rockaway Townsquare Mall.
Mr. Hauser’s experience has included multiple redevelopment and expansion projects at the various malls. A Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager (SCSM), an industry designation of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Mr. Hauser is the New York/Northern New Jersey State Operations Chairperson. He was President of the NY/NJ Council of Shopping Centers and now serves as Treasurer. In addition, he has been the recipient of several community awards and recognition’s and serves on the Board of Management of the Fairview Lake YMCA Camps and Conference Center, is Finance Chairperson and also serves on the Finance Committee of the Metro YMCA based in Livingston, New Jersey.
Prior to his involvement in the shopping center industry, Michael was employed by the YMCA in various positions in New York City and New Jersey.
The Hauser family resides in Branchburg, New Jersey.
