READY TO ROCK?

Madison Marquette is creating a year round, world-class retail and entertainment destination. Working with renowned New York architect David Rockwell, Madison Marquette has redesigned and rebuilt over 75,000 square feet of new retail space along with a Miniature Golf Course and Water Park in less than a year.

Building on Asbury Park's musical history, Madison Marquette has partnered with Live Nation, the country's foremost music promoter, to co-produce over 100 shows per year in four of the city's legendary venues - The Stone Pony, The Wonder Bar, Convention Hall and Paramount Theatre. Asbury Park, one of the East Coast's most famous and historic resort cities, has once again become the ultimate family destination, shopping district and entertainment attraction.

THE PROJECT

The Asbury Park redevelopment is the unprecedented rebuilding of one of the nations most historic beachfront communities. The project includes a remarkable 500,000 square feet of retail and entertainment development along with over 3,000 residential units on the last undeveloped stretch of the Jersey Shore's prime oceanfront.

The fifty-six acre project is located in Monmouth County between Deal Lake to the north and Ocean Grove to the south. Asbury Park is surrounded by upscale lifestyle communities that are among the most affluent in the nation. Only four miles east of the Garden State Parkway, the project is easily accessible from Manhattan, Philadelphia, and all points of New Jersey, making it an ideal entertainment and shopping destination for the tri-state area and vacation spot for the Northeast region.

Since beginning construction in March 2007, Madison Marquette has engineered a remarkably rapid turnaround. Four retail buildings have been renovated and over thirty businesses are open for business year round. In addition, Madison Marquette has spent over $1 million to create convenient, well-lit parking and additional public restrooms for Boardwalk patrons, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

The historic Paramount Theatre, Convention Hall, Grand Arcade, and Carousel Building have been renovated and restored to feature concerts, plays, comedians, film screenings and operas hosting audiences of over 6,000. The partnership with Live Nation has already brought internationally acclaimed artists to this legendary music mecca. Recent performers include Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Tony Bennett, Yes, Meatloaf and Billy Idol. The combination of venues has brought over 6,000 audience members to the boardwalk in a single evening.

The entire waterfront redevelopment is expected to occur over the next ten years, ultimately producing more than $1.25 billion in total economic redevelopment.
