In the diverse, upscale community of the East Midtown Partnership, you will find everything you want within just a few blocks. For hospitality and entertainment, it is the Waldorf-Astoria, the Regency, and a number of upscale boutique hotels. It is an entertainment destination, with unique venues like Feinstein's at the Regency, the ImaginAsian Theater, Florence Gould Hall, the 59E59 Theaters and the internationally famous Friars Club.
It is an international center of home design and decorating, with scores of showrooms clustered in the world-renowned Decorative Arts District. Our tour will be meeting at the internationally famous Friars Club with coffee and refreshments being generously provided by our host, The East Midtown Partnership. The Friars Club was the site of many memorable comedy roasts for a parade of famous entertainers such as Dean Martin, Don Rickles, Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg.
